D5 - PC Eckley has taught us about the dangers of alcohol and solvents today.

SCAN BULB

Year 6 planted the bulbs yesterday. They are taking part in an investigation to explore how seasons are changing with other schools in the UK.

PCSO Dan led an assembly about safety. He gave all the children advice on how to stay safe during bonfire night and Halloween.

Year 6 BE are learning to count in French this morning.

Congratulations to all the children that had a certificate in achievement assembly this morning.

School Councils

The three school councils have been invited  to speak to the governors about their work. Here they are opening their invitations. They are looking forward to sharing their work with them. 

Harvest

We had a lovely harvest assembly. We had lots of visitors to celebrate with us.  A big thank you for the great donations which have been donated to CATCH. 

Bird Club

We had a great time learning about pipistrelle bats in bird club. Take a look at our creations.

Dosbarth Derbyn - Laura's Star

We have been reading 'Laura's Star' in class and have been discussing what would we would wish for if we saw a shooting star.  We then wrote our wishes onto a piece of paper and tied them to helium balloons.  

After the count of '3' we released the balloons and we really hope that our wishes reach Laura's Star.
